The project consisted of removal and blind flange of approximately 300' of steam piping, both 8" and 4". Supply new perma-pipe for direct burial and install after environmental cleanup.

Reheat Piping Modification / Inspection
A 20" major steam line valve recently required repairs. Unfortunately, due to the location of the valve and timing issues, access could only be obtained by removing a section of the piping followed by repairs and rewelding

Boiler Feed Discharge Piping Replacement
OST Services provided welding and fitting services to replace approximately 60' of piping and fittings with the boiler feed pump discharge. The work was performed on a quick turn basis to avoid unnecessary down time at the production facility.

Condition Assessment of Boiler Tubing
An assessment of the boiler tube conditions was performed using a remote field testing (RFT) procedure. RFT represents a nondestructive, volumetric inspection technique capable of detecting variations in the tube wall thickness. This procedure utilizes a a single channel inspection probe, coupled to a Russel Ferroscope model 204 instrument. Signal output is processed, stored, and analyzed on an external laptop computer
