Drain Line Freezing
Arctic weather conditions can raise havoc relative to freezing condensate in high pressure drain lines, blow down tanks, air receiver drain lines, boiler components, and similar systems.
Although the application of heat tracing or other freeze protection methods are usually effective, the condition has caused pipe bursts leading to component failure and costly down time repair. OST Services has utilized the Radiographic Profiling Technique in detection of existing conditions so preventative care can be initiated prior to freezing.
