Traditional Nondestructive Testing (NDT) Techniques
Basic Training and Equipment
To assist plant personnel with the development of the basic skills, OST Services has developed a practical and cost effective in-plant NDT overview program geared towards power plant equipment and personnel.
Our program includes the following:
Introduction on the application and performance capabilities of traditional testing techniques (visual, liquid penetrant, magnetic particle, radiographic, and ultrasonic).

Hands-on applications of the magnetic particle and liquid penetrant techniques.

Review of advanced techniques and equipment.

Review of applicable codes, standards, and reglations.
